about donut films
When Jane and Virginia met at a community choir in East London it was the beginning of a firm friendship. When Jane roped Virginia into producing her second short film, it was also the beginning of a successful award-winning collaboration.
We've decided to pool our complementary skillsets and artistic ambition so established Donut Films UK as a place we can create content together that we're passionate about and also work with other writers, actors and filmmakers to bring their ideas to fruition.

Virginia’s first project as producer was with Jane on short film TAKE ME BACK which won Best Editor and Best Cinematographer laurels at Catfish Shorts and LIFA in 2019. A natural producer, she worked with Jane again on THEY THEM US. Virginia started her career at Browns, the luxury fashion retailer where she managed projects with Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Donna Karen, Comme des Garcons and Jill Sander amongst others. More recently she worked as a consultant with emerging brands looking for investment or
collaborations. The skills she’s acquired in 30 years of business management in the luxury fashion/interior design sectors
transfer perfectly to her roles as producer and production designer.
